The "Bonac Mini" Dance Convention 2012
The "Bonac Mini" Dance Convention was started in 2011 by the Bonac Dance Company to serve as the introduction to their preseason for the development of new skills, to polish their technique, and to gain access to professional dance teachers and choreographers from around Long Island all the way to New York City. Being that the 2011 "Bonac Mini" was a huge success, we now invite YOU to join us for this weekend of dance! The schedule includes 7 hours of class on our Saturday schedule, and 5 hours of class on our Sunday schedule. Students are invited to partake in the entire weekend of activities for only $15! We know that your school, like ours, may not have a huge budget for its school dancers. We ask for a small donation of $15.00 per each dancer to cover the cost of our choreographers' gas money, train tickets, and lunches.
Here's how it works:
Students will be split into three different areas based on their experience level. We recommend the following:
Beginner- Students with 0-2 years of dance experience
Intermediate- Students with 3-4 years of dance experience
Advanced- Students with 5+ years of dance experience
Students will partake in classes of Traditional Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Lyrical, Modern, Street Jazz, Hip-hop, and Gymnastics at all levels of participation. Students will also receive a completion certificate for their hardwork and dedication.
